Introducing RoundUp for GOALS

Giving millenials credit when credit is due.

Recently, I had coffee with Ben - my far-more-milllenial-hipster GOALS counterpart. He was excited about Acorns, an app he uses to round every purchase he makes on a specific credit/debit card up to the nearest dollar, then automatically deposits the round-up into his investment account. He geeked out a bit about how much fun he has using Acorns, and how good it feels to know he's making an impact on his savings. When the gas pump ended at $52.92 on his way to our coffee meeting, Ben didn't want to just auto-deposit $0.08 - so he gives it one more quick squeeze to hit $53.01, and deposited $0.99.

I left that meeting wishing that someone would create an “Acorns-like app” for charities. Turns out they have!
