GOALS CLASS III EXPEDITIONS
GOALS class III expeditions are designed specifically for participants age 16 and up (approximately grade 10+, with some variability in limited cases). The curriculum focuses on connection with self, and requires some degree of personal awareness to maximize impact. Participants are generally at an important and often intimidating time of transition in their lives - working to find success in high school or college and/or identify the proper decision for the next chapter of their young adult lives. Our 4-step growth process empowers class III explorers to search, navigate, reflect, and believe as we travel through the canyon - then shows them how the same process is applicable and valuable beyond the take-out. These expeditions range from 4 - 10 days in length, and explore rivers with whitewater up to Class V.
GOALS class III expeditions are offered on:
- Westwater Canyon of the Colorado River in Utah (4-day expedition)
- Gates of Lodore on the Green River in Colorado/Utah (5 or 6-day expedition)
- The Free Flowing Yampa River in Colorado/Utah (6-day expedition)
- The Wild & Scenic Rogue River in Oregon (7-day expedition)
- Cataract Canyon of the Colorado River in Utah (7-day expedition)
- The Main Salmon River in Idaho (8-day expedition)
